Jimmy Weller, a native of Ohio, is racing a partial NASCAR XFINITY schedule this year, beginning with the XFINITY Series race in Richmond in a couple weeks. He actually has a really great story behind how he got to the XFINITY Series—he was climbing the sprint car ranks when a very serious accident left him with serious neck and back injuries, and a traumatic brain injury. After months of physical therapy, Jimmy was finally approved to get back in a race car, but this time he focused his efforts on stock cars. He ran a partial schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series last year, and will move up to the XFINITY Series this year. He will drive the No. 90 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Camaro for King Autosports.
