Richard F Adams speaks to Paul Carney, a former teacher who now works as an arts consultant.

Paul is a big advocate of teaching creative skills and last year published a new book, called “Drawing for Science, Invention & Discovery: Even if you can’t draw”. The pair of them talk about arts teaching, education and the challenges that schools face today where they need to prioritise their efforts, often at the expense of encouraging the creativity of students.
