It’s time to rethink our biases. This week, I invited Republican Tara Setmayer, Conservative Political Commentator, podcaster and Senior Advisor to the Lincoln Project, to a brilliant conversation which transcends political boundaries. Despite sticking points on less comfortable topics such as abortion, this episode really highlights how we have far more similarities between us than we do differences, and clears the air for a conversation between the divided masses. Tara explains how she got involved in Republican politics, how she’s supporting her husband’s cricket clothing line LondonRoyce, and the Jerry-Springerisation of politics under Donald Trump - a man who we both legitimately despise. Tara also gets candid about being tokenised in Republican politics, the struggles she’s had with her body image, and how her mum is her biggest inspiration in life.
