We often think about how children are being educated in India, or the state of malnutrition in our
country -- but do we ever think holistically about India's children? Lalita Pulavarti joins Pavan Srinath on Episode 20 of the Thale-Harate Kannada Podcast to talk about the challenges faced by the 470 million+ children in India.

Lalita Pulavarti is a senior researcher with a PhD in Sociology and has worked on a wide range of governance issues, conducting numerous surveys and studies. Till recently, Lalita worked with the Public Affairs Foundation in Bengaluru, and while there – she co-authored a chapter on Children of India, as a part of the 2018 Public Affairs Index. The chapter includes a Child Rights Index, an attempt to systematically collate data on the state of children in India's states.
