The 2020 Formula 1 season was due to kick off with the Australian Grand Prix which was initially scheduled to take place between 12th to 15th March 2020. However, with the ongoing spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic, race organisers announced the cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix on 13th March 2020. The race organisers reached a consensus with the 9 remaining F1 teams, following the withdrawal of the McLaren F1 team as a result of a staff member tested positive for the coronavirus. When the 2020 F1 Season will kick off and how the other races on the calendar will be affected is anyone's guess now.
