Episode 56 - Round 18 Wrap: Luke Hooks - a podcast by Adam Hoy and Jarrod Mewton
from 2020-09-14T13:26:30
With the conclusion of Round 18 came the conclusion of the Warriors and Wests Tigers finals hopes.
That's right, the Top 8 for 2020 is set. While there may still be some jostling of position, particularly 5 through to 8 we can begin to look forward to some final preview games in the last 2 weeks of the regular season.
In the bottom 8, Manly did Broncos supporters a huge favour by knocking off current cellar dwellers in the Bulldogs. The Dogs face Souths and Penrith to round out the season and will need to win at least 1 and hope Brisbane lose their last two in order to rid themselves of the Wooden Spoon.
While serial wooden spoon recipients, the Titans this year will look to finish on a high and continue to run their recent streak of impressive performances.
A relatively quiet week on the injury and judiciary front with a small number of teams missing players for 1 or 2 weeks. Whilst the processes in the Bunker will be reviewed by the ARL this week after another profound error led to a try being disallowed for obstruction.
Jarrod has not 1 or 2 but 3 rants about a number of issues while Adam continues to recover from hosting his son's 4th birthday.
