QUICKFIRE NEWSCrunchyroll. Sony’s Funimation purchased Crunchyroll for $1.2B, citing an interest to “create a unified anime subscription experience as soon as possible.”
Stardew Valley. Game will be available on Xbox Game Pass in Fall 2021.
Lightyear Frontier. Futuristic mech-based farming sim by Frame Break was announced. It’s intended to be ecologically conscious and anti-colonial.
Pokemon GO. Niantic scaling back social distancing measures included in the game, but claims to be assembling an internal team to balance the game’s mission statement with user safety concerns regarding interaction distance.
Pokemon Unite. First balance update for the game released.
