QUICKFIRE NEWSMarch Through Time. Fortnite collaborated with TIME and the King estate to create a virtual Martin Luther King, Jr exhibit in the game featuring his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
Elden Ring. RPG won “Game of the Year” at Gamescom, despite not having been released yet.
Overwatch. McRee to be renamed, as the person he was named after (Jesse McRee) is a significant part of the toxic culture at ActiBlizz.
Blizzard. Blizzard’s HR department was caught destroying evidence related to the state of CA’s lawsuit against the company.
Horizon Forbidden West. PlayStation release delayed to Feb 18, 2022.
New World. Amazon’s MMO will have an open beta from September 9th to 12th. The game releases on September 28th.
Phasmophobia. Multiple new ghosts, new tools, adjusted behaviors added in recent update.
Valheim. Hearth & Home update will release 9/16, fairly light on content.
Pokemon Unite. Blastoise is live!
