QUICKFIRE NEWS

Kingdom Hearts 4. Fourth main game in the series announced by Square-Enix, will get the FF15 treatment.

Activision Blizzard. Despite converting over 1,000 temp/contract QA employees to full-time and providing $20/hr minimum pay, Activision Blizzard is not extending those benefits to Raven Software QA workers because they are trying to organize a union. CA’s Governor has allegedly been interfering in DFEH’s case by firing the head counsel on the case and demanding advance notice of litigation strategy.

Epic Games. Sony has invested $1B and Lego has invested $2B into Epic as part of an initiative for metaverse development.

Streets of New Capenna. Next Magic: the Gathering set will feature a plane with a Prohibition-era aesthetic. New mechanics include Alliance, Casualty, Connives, and Hideaway.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CDPR’s next-gen update for Witcher 3 has been delayed indefinitely as they evaluate the scope of work necessary.

Stranger Things. Season 4 trailer has been released, featuring Vecna.
