I sat down on December 31st and planned out what books I'm going to read this year. I want to make 2008 the year of re-reading books, especially non-fiction. I got some cools books for Christmas, though, and I'm working on some books right now, so it will be a couple of months before I get to the books that I've already read. Here's my list.

Books I'm reading now:

Fragile Things- Neil Gaiman(finished 1/24/'08)
How Computers Work- Ron White(finished 6/26/'08)
Roitt's Essential Immunology(finished 12/25/'08)

Books I plan to read for the first time:

Empire Falls- Richard Russo(finished 3/18/'08)

The Code Book- Simon Singh(finished 6/3/'08)
A People's History of the United States- Howard Zinn(finished 5/18/'08)
The Riddle and the Knight- Giles Milton(finished 6/16/'08)

Nathaniel's Nutmeg- Giles Milton(finished 10/30/2008)
The Long Walk- Stephen King(finished 4/15/'08)
The Hobbit- J.R.R. Tolkien(finished 8/28/'08)
Lord of the Ringstrilogy - J.R.R. Tolkien(finished 10/7/'08)
The Education of Little Tree -Forrest Carter(finished 7/15/'08)

Books I read that aren't on the list:

Lisey's Story- Stephen King(finished 7/1/'08)
Climbing Mount Improbable- Richard Dawkins(finished 10/28/2008)

I'm a slow reader, so it's going to be tough to finish all of those books by the end of the year. It'll be fun trying, though.
