Black History Month highlights important past strides and spotlights work still to be done towards equality, but some aspects of Black history in Canada have been overlooked. What can be done to address these gaps? We ask: Afua Cooper, principal investigator of A Black People's History of Canada, a project out of Dalhousie University; Cheryl Thompson, assistant professor in performance at The Creative School, Ryerson University; and Rochelle Bush, proprietor and primary guide of Tubman Tours Canada.
