Kazuo Ishiguro, returns to The Agenda with his eighth novel, "Klara and the Sun-" his first since winning the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2017. The book describes a relationship between an AI (called Artificial Friend) and its owner. The New Yorker calls the work a continuation of Ishiguro's "ordinary, strange, godless allegories." He also discusses how his life has been altered by his Nobel Laureate status, and the pandemic.
