Despite the animosity the duo had for each other, a match between Adam Pearce and the Sheik could have legitimately launched the authentic era some eight years before David Lagana coined the phrase.  So why didn't the match happen?  In this episode of Jay Cal's View I take a look back at the events that led up to the change in the originally billed match.  And what it means to the NWA because of it.
