There is so much hype for NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis.  Beyond a shadow of a doubt his impact in the NWA will be felt for generations to come. We don't get to the NWA POWERRR era without "The National Treasure."  But remember, we don't get to Nick Aldis without getting to what kept the NWA relevant.  Tim Storm, Jax Dane, Rob Conway, Satoshi Kojima, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, all on the backs of the men before them, including "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. Aldi's first run as NWA Champion was nearly flawless.  But I wouldn't call Nick Aldis the greatest NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion of all time.  I wouldn't even call him the greatest champion in the last twenty years.
