Chicago Public Library's Creative Digital Learning Space, YOUmedia, Turns 10 - a podcast by Vocalo Radio

YOUmedia is a creative digital learning space for teens at Chicago Public Library. This year the program is celebrating its 10 year anniversary of providing Chicago teens with tools to create, collaborate and learn new media skills. YOUmedia alums have included artists like Chance The Rapper, Noname and Jean Deaux, and the program has established itself as an influential arts incubator for emerging artists in Chicago. We spoke with YOUmedia Partnerships Coordinator, Jennifer Steele about the program, its impact on Chicago arts community and the anniversary celebration block party taking place Saturday, 9/28 outside of Harold Washington Library Center.
