Melanin Voices is a performance series of poetry and live literature created to showcase the local and unsung voices and highlight the narratives illuminated from their writings. The theme of this year’s show series is “The Black and Latinx Connection”. Audiences will be taken on a poetic journey to uncover the sociopolitical parallel narratives between the Black and Latinx community. Glenance Green is the Founder of A g Thing which presents The Melanin Voices, and Kim Chayeb is a poetic performer in the Melanin Voices Collective.
