In this episode, my friend Megan Coscia and I sit with two bottles of Arneis; a dry, aromatic white wine. The grape is originally from the Piedmont of Italy, where the name translates to "little rascal" in a local dialect. We sit, comparing a Piedmont Arneis to one from the high deserts of Willcox, to talk about some of the differences between Old and New World styles of wines and winemaking, and to see just how Arizona compares to the Motherland of this fun, unique, geeky white grape.
