from 2020-05-10T10:08
Marcus Aurelius was a Roman Emperor- and this quick podcast episode takes us through the #stoic philosophy that he practiced throughout his life and how we as creators can use it to get through these times and otherwise as well.
Through his book MEDITATIONS, he takes us through this philosophy.
A few pointers that are important
1) Know what you can change and what you cannot !
2) Keep a journal- to prepare, reflect, and remind.
3) Practice being humble, patient, empathetic, generous.......
4) It's all ephemeral.. what matters is NOW 5) Postpone nothing- you could leave right now...- that's true- we are MORTALS aHah!
6) Live a life of virtue
7) Every adversity is an opportunity PDF of meditations
