Our final episode of the season features a very special guest, King of New York, Jim Leyritz. Jim is a former Major League Baseball star (MLB) , winning 2 world series champions. He played for the Yankees, Angels, Rangers , Redsox, and Dodgers. Not only did Jim have an incredible 11 year career in the league and was a 2X World Series champion, but he was also one of the best postseason hitters in baseball history. He is the author of Catching Heat: The Jim Leyritz Story. Jim also demonstrated his versatility and knowledge of the game of baseball, by co-hosting a radio show with Vinny Micucci and Billy Sample called MLB Radio Daily on MLB Radio and many other.

After a successful 11 year career, Jim channeled his passion and commitment for helping others by raising money and awareness for numerous charitable organizations. With a deep-rooted connection to New York, Jim is involved in a myriad of causes and particularly enjoys working with charities dedicated to helping children and at-risk youth. His new show catching heat with Jim Leyritz , shares stories and insights from sports legends and celebrities. The show covers the stuff you don’t hear about in the media.
