“Expectations Meets Reality”

Sometimes things don’t turn out the way we’ve expected them to (well, a lot of the time actually).

But why is that?

Voice in my head: If we are the creators of our whole reality doesn’t that mean that we should get what we want?

Well…yes, but I’ve often found that what I really wanted was not what I thought I wanted.

Take for instance a new home - I wanted it about 8 months ago but it hasn’t come yet and in the meantime, through all the trials and tribulations, what I’ve found I really desired was a deeper wisdom, new perspectives, a deep sense of home within - all of which I could share with you.

In this episode what I talk about is basically one thing: the gift of reality, that is the gift of seeing your current reality from a completely new perspective, the true success.

I also discuss this idea: “You are always looking into the mirror.”

I’ve found that the real relationship is the one you have with your emotions (as reflected in the mirror of your reality) so it’s all about being super present to those and to unpack the gift that they all bring.

Any pain you feel is here to help you, to gift you the gift of looking even deeper within yourself.

It isn’t about ‘going to battle’ with reality but about seeing the gift of the reality currently with you.

So yeah, join me for basically one thing stretched into 30 minutes: seeing the gift in your current reality and to use that gift to open yourself to wider perspectives (and so) wider realities.
