On the Atlas Shorts: the Land of Creation, God on A Balcony, & the Book of Emotions - a podcast by Ella Gibbins

The Land of Creation, God on A Balcony short films, and the Book of Emotions are three original projects I’ve been developing over the past few years.

The Land of Creation was a short film borne of a moment in time on a drive back home to the Blue Mountains, where I used to live at the time.

I was plagued by negative emotion and asked to ‘experience what I am, not what I’m not.’ About 15 minutes later I was opened to an incredible vista of golden lights I had never seen before that looked out across the back of Sydney.

I felt an incredible feeling that Earth was ‘a land of creation’ - a place where trauma and pain is transformed into creativity and love and we here on Earth are strong enough to do this.

This emotion and experience began a 1 year journey to create the short film - this feeling I’ve felt compelled to share visually with others.


The short film God on A Balcony was borne of a dream where I had the understanding that the word God meant everything around us. The way we see God (being from fear or from love) is what impacts not only the way we see ourselves but all other beings.


And the Book of Emotions (a visual poetry book re-defining our relationship with emotions as inherently interconnected with all of life) was borne of my healing journey through Psychosis. Chapter after chapter emerged for me providing me with a guiding light when at the time all I could witness was darkness.


To me it isn’t just about the end projects but the fascinating process that lead up to their inception and creation. Each has been borne magnificently of pure flow or the choice to see things a different way.

I feel excited to share with you these projects - to share a momentary breathe online and a new perspective.
