Many months ago a feeling came to me: that the relationship dynamic of our family of our childhood is what has literally created the landscape of relationships and the network of our world.

Our relationship to our family as a child is what we carry forward and create with in our life, as does the rest of our world.

And so much of the harsh & disconnected relationships we see within our world are carry ons from the harsh relationships that were held within our families as children.

How can we, as adults, transform ourselves to transform our world into one of more harmonious, connected, and loving relationships - ie. a Global Family?

How can we transform our world once again into a place of belonging and a place to be held?

The importance comes in being held, in learning how to hold ourselves in our harshest moments, to transform that pain, transform that energy, and to create connection, and a sense of family once again.

This episode is all about how our personal family relationships ripple out to create our global family relationships, to surrender a world of rejection, and how to find belonging, holding, and family within.

I chat with my close friends and recent parents Justin Chau & Hala El Khoury, who are on a mission to create a more conscious global family, starting from their very home and their choices & energy in raising their new baby, Alma.

As I stepped forward to create this episode some powerful ideas also came forward for me:

How different would our lives look if we all worked on the assumption that we were connected (as opposed to a planet of survival of the fittest)?

And the realisation that often when I believed I was looking for money, what I was actually looking for was family.
