Voice - a podcast by Ella Gibbins

Earlier in the year I started singing lessons and I came to learn that singing (and breathing) from my belly offered a significantly deeper strength and power to my voice than singing from my throat.

As the year went on I found my singing lessons seemed to be acting as a metaphor for fully embodying what was true for me and to offering a deeper power to my true voice.

My singing lessons were doing more to teach me about the nature of my energy, my true voice, and how it related to life itself.

And so the podcast “Voice” was born.

Over the year I came to learn that our voice speaks through our energy.

And that our ‘north star’ in life is to speak in the direction of a deeper truth.

To place more power beneath our true voice, our true place of purpose.

The thought came to me “in a world that has chosen suffering, when will you choose to transcend it?”

How do we hold our own voice, our sense of self in experiences overwhelmed by fear?

It was over the coming months that I was to come to learn to have a voice again and to address the ‘voicelessness’ within me.

The challenge for me was to learn that I could not truly help a world in suffering until I was able to hold my own suffering, my own feeling of ‘voicelessness’, and transcend it.

It is by first freeing our own voice that we can truly free the voice of others.

This podcast is the fore-runner to a series of podcasts which are all about how we fit into a greater Global Network, or a Global Family.

The very first port of call is to truly embody our own true voice and our own deep purpose.

From this place we can attract others in our greater global network of purpose who truly reflect that purpose we have embodied within ourselves.
