Journey down memory lane on this edition of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site as Mike remembers those great AM Summer Nights. Remember those hot nights in your front yard, up on the roof, at the local drive in or anywhere you hung out listening to your favorite AM music station with a live DJ spinning those hits?

Mike recalls those days as well as telling you how you can put together your own summer retro music show by using old radio airchecks.

We remember such great DJ's as B. Mitchell Reed. Mike also tells us about a great record swap meet in Pasadena, CA.

Smitty follows up and talks about those neat portable radios that we used to listen to radio on-the-go with. From the early tube portables to the beloved pocket transistor set, we talk about those tubes, transistors, and batteries that made portable listening possible.

If you thought Shakespeare was boring, Ian has an explanation of the Bard's works that will make you laugh, and help you to understand some of those complex storylines. Ian also remembers Himan Brown of CBS Radio Mystery Theater fame, who passed away recently.

Also a neat Elgin Watch Retro-Commercial from 1947. All this on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site.
