It's summertime here at Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, and what goes best in hot weather than a nice ice cream cone, soda, or float. We recall the best memories of days gone by when we enjoyed these frosty treats at Thrifty Drug, A&W, Foster's, or our favorite malt shops from the past. Many other places around the country served up such treats that helped us get through that hot weather. Truly a bit of Americana that we all enjoyed and even to this day, this is a favorite treat for countless people around the country. Join us for as we serve up a cool frosty virtual treat for all! We also remember Mickey Rooney who passed away earlier in 2014. Mickey's film and television work ran the gamut of comedy and drama and he remains one of the best remembered actors in show business. Everyone has a memory of a favorite film or TV show that featured Mickey Rooney and we salute him and the volume of work he leaves behind.
