We remember some great musical artists who we lost in the last part of 2015 and early 2016 on this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site. We begin by remembering Glenn Frey, the guitarist for the Eagles who is remembered for his ballads that are very evocative of another era in American music. We lost Glenn Frey on January 18, 2016. Next we recall the life of David Bowie, who passed away January 10, 2016. David Bowie is remembered for his huge body of work encompassing numerous musical genres. He is also remembered for his theatrics and was the defining styles of the various eras he participated in. Finally, we remember Natalie Cole, daughter of the late Nat King Cole, and a well-known singer in her own right specializing in Rhythm and Blues. She passed away on December 31, 2015. From the beginning of her career in the mid 70s, the number of songs that she produced are still perennial favorites. She is also remembered for her duet with her father, made possible due to the advances in technology. She accompanied her dad in the hit song "Unforgettable". Our Retro-Commercial stars Art Linkletter and is for Milton Bradley board games from the late 1960s. Join us as we remember these great musical talents on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, on the Galaxy Nostalgia Network.
