It's the 50th anniversary of the first James Bond film release here in the U.S. and on this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, we look back to some of our favorite movies in this legendary series. We remember some of the actors who portrayed James Bond, as well as some of the beautiful women and cool gadgets that were seen in the movies. Lots of good things we recall from this series of well-remembered films. The second half of our show looks back to the 75th anniversary of the ball point pen. This ubiquitous instrument replaced the fountain pen, which required more drying time and was more complicated to use and carry. We recall the early history of how these pens came to be as well as some of the various writing instruments we recall from years ago. A fun history lesson in early writing instruments! Our Retro-Commercial is for Buster Brown Shoes, and their fun jingle from years back. Join us on this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site!
