On this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, Smitty and Mike have a spring-time update for all of our listeners. We talk about a new way for you to listen to all of our Galaxy programs, and bring everyone up to date with more exciting news regarding how you can listen and watch some of our programs as we enter late spring 2014. We have an update on our great friend "Shotgun Tom" Kelly, who underwent bypass surgery in March of this year. Shotgun is doing great, and we tell you about his return to his air shift on KRTH 101.1 in Los Angeles. We also remember two individuals who were well known in the world of radio whom we have recently lost. Lee Marshall, who had an extensive career in radio, and was well known as the voice of Tony the Tiger, passed away earlier this year. Lee is remembered as well as his long career in radio and the entertainment business. We also lost Dave Diamond, a well remembered radio DJ from the 60s and 70s. Mike recalls listening to Dave on radio station KRLA in Los Angeles and we have an excerpt of his on-air work to share with you. Our Retro-Commercial is for NBC News On the Hour, from 1957, featuring the voices of some of their well remembered newsmen of that era. We're waiting for you, so join us here, on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site!
