Welcome to Game 5 of the Sophomore Season of the Basketball Hungry Podcast! 

Marcus Allen (@marcusallen_15) is the first professional basketball player to appear on our podcast! A great person and a great basketball player, Marcus and Drew got to know each other during their time together with the South Bay Lakers. 

Marcus is a 4 year Stanford basketball player and Graduate, former Compton Magic AAU star, and even played overseas in Finland for a year. 

Enjoy our conversation about his life, what his plans are to further his career & what basketball was like playing in March Madness, overseas, and in the G-League. We also talk about what it means to be a die hard Laker fan, and to be living the dream playing for their G-League Affiliate. 

For Marcus, the job's not finished. He's determined, staying ready & staying hungry. We all see a bright future ahead for him.
