The excitement continues to build for The BBL Show as the season opener draws nearer!

Episode 5 is jam packed as we start the show with a special surprise! Kipper Nichols joins in a short cameo to face off with Jay. Kipper played for the University of Illinois (USA), and he is excited to start his rookie season as a Sheffield Shark.

In this episode, we recognize World Mental Health Day as we are joined by former Worcester Wolves and recent Cup Champion Kofi Joseph. This year’s theme for World Mental Health Day is “Mental Health For All,” which takes a laser focus on the unprecedented impact that the COVID-19 global health emergency is having on our individual and collective mental health.

Kofi opens up about the challenges he has overcome with his mental health over the years, and he dives deep into the concept of Imposter Syndrome. Imposter Syndrome is a false yet polarizing belief that one’s success is fraudulent or undeserved. Kofi is not alone in this experience…. but we must say, Kofi is not an imposter; he is the real deal all day!!!.

We finish the show with recently retired Great Britain National Kieran Achara as he was just named MBE. An amazing accomplishment to top off his great career as a beloved member of the Glasgow Rocks. Jay and Drew close The BBL Show congratulating Kieran on a great run!
