Pastor Brad begins by reading a prophetic word from one of the church's elders on March 23, 2008, Easter Sunday, regarding God's message about debt. God gave the church a word that there was a grace on this church to defeat debt ... so they began to tackle this situation.

The message from God was "do not take the hand of the fear of poverty, or the fear of man, but take my hand ... there is a grace today" from the fear of bondage to debt.

Debt is a replacement covenant, instead of going to the world, go to God and believe in him to relieve your debt. God can show you how creative he can be with your debt. Tithes and offerings are the keys! We are not just limited by what we can do, God has great power in the area of finances. Get aggressive about believing God to get out of debt. Romans 13:8 says, "Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law." Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender." Deuteronomy 28:43-44 says, "The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail."

Debt keeps us in bondage. We do not reap automatically, we have to believe God to give us favor and open doors for provision. God is faithful.
