God first spoke to Abraham in Genesis 17:1-7 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+17%3A1-7&version=NKJV) about the role of the man and husband. He had gotten some bad advice from his wife, and the counsel she gave was not a godly counsel. Things went worse for a period of 13 years.

God was telling Abram to walk in integrity, and He changed his name to Abraham.  It is important for the man to develop his relationship from the Lord and be able to hear the Lord. This listening will benefit the man's entire family. God his faithfullness and promissed covenant provided a son to Abraham and Sarah.

A women derives a portion of herself by who the man says she is. God revealed His promise in Genesis 18.

As the man changes, the whole thing changes. The man needs to have wholeness and steadiness in his life. The man needs to be steady one. Pastor Brad prays for marriages and that His order will come into the home.
