Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week Pastor Brad shares a message about the gift of prophesy entitled "Prophesy Again."

The gift of prophesy is important. It is important to go back things God has spoken to you -- through a dream, a vision, the scriptures or someone else's speaking. These are all places you receive a prophetic word from God. A prophetic word is a specific word to a specific situation or calling.

1 Timothy 1:18-19 says, "This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck," Pastor Brad continues to teach regarding this scripture. 

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 says, "Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good." Despise means to think to lowly.  Don't think too lowly of a prophetic word. Test a prophetic word and sees if it is scriptual and does it bear witness to your spirit.

Pastor brad continues teaching from 1 Timothy 4:14-16 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Timothy+4%3A14-16&version=NKJV). Paul was calling Timothy to refocus and meditate on the things, the call of God.

Go back and remember the things that God has spoken to toward your life. Consider these things and declare them.
