The baptism of the Holy Spirit is something that is very much needed in the life of the Believer. In Joel 2:28-29 it says, “And it shall come to pass afterwardThat I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,Your old men shall dream dreams,Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on Mymaidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." Acts 2 confirmed the pouring out of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost. We are in the days in which God is pouring out the Spirit of God on all flesh. 

We have to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by Faith. Acts 1:8 confirms this -- "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." God is saying that when the Holy Spirit comes into your life, he is going to take you to many places to help many people.

Galatians 3 speaks of receiving the Holy Spirit by faith. Know that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit and it is available by the hearing of faith. God does miracles by the hearing of faith. We have to believe that God wants to do mircles from God. 1 Corianthians 12:4-11 talks about the distribution of the gifts of God through the Spirit (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+corinthians+12%3A4-11&version=NKJV).
