Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week Pastor Brad continues teaching on the Spiritual Gifts and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The word baptism, in the Greek, means emersion. Baptism stands for you identifying with Christ and as you go into the water you come out with a new life, saying no to an old life and yes to a new life. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a much deeper form of baptism. It involves praying in other languages -- praying and speaking in tongues.

Acts 19:2-6 speaks of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts+19%3A2-6&version=NKJV). In Mark 16:15-18 Jesus says, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Miracles came to the disciples after Jesus spoke them, because they believed.

With the Baptism of the Holy Spirit you are going to receive power. You will begin to be a witness and have relationship with people because of the power of the Holy Spirit. Have you received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?
