Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week Pastor Brad continues his message: The Mantling of Mothers. God gifts mothers with a special grace to be able to do certain things. Mothers are strong pillars in the home and the family.

In 2 Kings chapter 4 beginning in verse 8 the prophet Elisha meets a woman that possessed some of these qualities that are part of a mother that God is seeking to mantle. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+kings+4&version=NKJV) 

The woman had an ability to influence her husband to move in a Godly manner. She also had an ability with perception in perceiving who Elisha was (a man of God). She had the ability to make useful suggestions (building a room for Elisha to stay in when he came through their area). This Women also had kindness, she used the word "please." She also respected the annointing of Elisha. She also had strength and dignity.

Elisha through God, recognized that there was something he could do for this women.  When he found out she was barren and her husband was old, he told her "in about a year you will embrace a son." One day the son died, but the prophet through God brought the dead thing back to life.

Tell the dead thing in your life to live!

Don't give up on the promise that God has for you - His mantle for you - you are destined to see the performance of the promise that God has for your life.
