The Jawaharlal Nehru University students’ union took a protest march to the Parliament on 18 November — the first day of the winter session of the parliament - against a hike in the hostel fees.
Technically, the demands for a roll back of the hostel fee hike has been going on for three weeks, leading to a bigger protest only earlier last week.
