The Blk Grrrl Show talks to LA Progressive's Dick and Sharon about how 9/11 brought about a new era of abuse to US citizens and the importance of the left to be vocal in the Democratic party and to Vega Darling who is a punk rocker turned filmmaker.

Darling has deep roots in riot grrrl. He has organized feminist, queer, trans, and punk festivals, events, and conferences including Philadelphia Trans Health Conference (2004-2009) where he designed the first of its kind trans youth and family programming, Ladyfest Bay Area (2012), and Gender Reel Film Festival in Oakland (2013). Currently he is the Program Director for Gender Reel Film Festivals and the Director of the riot grrrl documentary, "GRRRL."
