In any other year, extroverts had it over introverts in terms of dealing with the social pressures and interactions of daily life. This year, it may be the introverts who are having an easier time. We take your calls on how you're coping with limited social interactions if you're naturally extroverted, and if you're introverted: have you reached a limit on how much alone time you can take?

Huge introvert here. I defiantly have done better than my extrovert friends - one said to me, this is a Nathan dream - but even I have limits. I miss my family in Canada, I miss having the 1-2 people over...but my pile of introvert projects are going great :)

@BrianLehrer As a hardcore extrovert, I’m really struggling with the pandemic. My brother is an introvert who is happy to play video games and avoid obligations (he’s also working in person). My roommate has been very social outside of the apt. & ended up with Covid in Nov.

Introvert here — doing pretty well and I've only seen 7-8 friends IRL since March 2020! I've loved the increased acceptability of turning down social obligations and hope it continues post-covid. Zoom game nights are great. (I'm roommates w/other introverts, which doesn't hurt.)

@BrianLehrer Extrovert here whose job is coordinating performances and concerts for a music school and youth orchestra, living with two introverts and a fellow extrovert. It's been brutal. I overshare with grocery clerks.

"I like to talk to people a lot," an 8-year-old @BrianLehrer caller Hollis from Kingston says talking about the difficulties of being an extrovert during the pandemic. ??? Hollis is now talking to a therapist virtually to "keep myself ok just to check in with myself."

@BrianLehrer Per Myer Briggs, I'm an extreme introvert but don't the introverts calling to say how happy they are now want to travel? Go to the movies? Get outside? Hear live music? Have a maskless walk. I miss it all--badly.
