In arecent study, hiring managers were 20% less likely to hire candidates who voiced an interest in the company’s pay and benefits structure.Rellie Derfler-Rozin, associate professor at theManagement and Organization Department at the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, talks about her research on hiring bias. She is joined byTeresa Ghilarducci,  professor of economics and director of theSchwartz Center for Economic Policy Analysis at The New School, who explains New York City's new wage transparency law, which will require jobs posted with four or more employees to list salary ranges.
