The brothers banter on history, reading, winter-break birds and then discuss their experience as consecrated religious. The brothers talk about the difference and the similarities between being called to religious life and making the choice to be a consecrated person. One description of consecration is to be set aside and dedicated for a particular purpose. The brother or sister in vows is set aside for a life as a symbol of God’s goodness and presence.
