This week we begin the spring season of the church year known as Lent which ends with Easter. The Carpenter’s used to sing, “Love is Surrender,” and Lent is a wonderful time to surrender deeply to the love and will of the Lord who loves you!  I encourage you to travel the days of Lent this year in a spirit of surrender to the Lord who loves you.
