BOA #90 - My Answer is Yes! - a podcast by Dr. Stan Ott

The wonderful Hebrew word hineni means, “Here I am.”  It's more than simply "being here," it's being fully present to you. When God called Samuel, Jacob, Moses, Isaiah, all of them replied, hineni, here I am! Hineni is, "I am here with you at the deepest level, yours, ready to run with you."

Darlene Zschech has shared that hineni  could mean, “My answer is yes before you even ask!” What a wonderful way to understand hineni!

If your heart is soft, open fully to the indwelling Lord Jesus who loves and leads you, then when you sense our Lord asking something of you, you will respond, “Here I am – my answer is yes before you even ask!”
