Game of the Show: Immortals Fenyx Rising
Published by Ubisoft Quebec, MSRP $60, Buy on Epic
Immortals Fenyx Rising is an awesome, colourful and funny open-world adventure game with a heavy emphasis on puzzles. Ubisoft Quebec took elements of games like Breath of the Wild, Genshin Impact and Assassin's Creed and blended them together to create, finally, a new IP that is light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously, all the while delivering great gameplay and entertaining story.
While there is nothing really new in Fenyx, everything is polished to near perfection. This game will be a hit or miss depending on your gaming inclination - if you are here for the combat, you probably won't get a lot out of it. While fun and involves a lot of cool powers that make you feel like a genuine mythical hero, there is not a lot of verity in it. The meat of the game is in its puzzles, and there are many of them. around 40 hours worth of game time. So if you're not into that, you probably won't like Fenyx as a whole.
Recall: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
News:
- Huge CyberPunk 1.2 patch (!) - should you play it now if you want it bug free-ish? Probably not.
- Not sure how I feel about a new Witcher mobile game
- Frost Giant Studios - ex-Blizzard & Westwood people creating the next RTS? Yes, please!
