Monster Hunter: World

Published by CAPCOM, MSRP $60, Buy on Humble (Iceborne Master Edition, Partner Link)

One of the most unique game series that we know, Monster Hunter used to be tied to Nintendo consoles, with games like Tri appearing on the Wii - with World, the series gained greater renoune, launching on both PS4, Xbox One as well as PC.

MH: World has a semi-MMO format, similar to Destiny, Warframe and the like, with a multiplayer session of many players and 4-player parties for questing.

The whole Monster Hunter format feels like going against MMO bosses, albeit with much more complex mechanics.

The great strength of the game is the weapon system, that allows each player to use a specific play-style that is best for them. The game can be played as a normal sword-and-board, high-speed spectacle fighter, long-ranged third-person shooter, and many more.

It has something for everyone and is a pleasure to play.

Quick Shoutout - Dead Cells DLC!

News:  Anthem is Getting Resurrected

Here are the details.

We were very excited for Anthem when it first came out but like others, felt that it was a flying simulator when you have very limited fuel.

Combat was meh, progression was pale in comparison to other co-op shooters like Warframe, and performance sucked. We want to give EA and BioWare some credit for taking in all the sunken cost and trying to make Anthem a thing.
