Like a Dragon is the 8th instalment in the Yakuza series, a kind of reboot with a new protagonist, a new city, and a new combat system - switching from real-time brawler to a JRPG-style turn-based system. It's a slow-burning game that feels like a TV show or soap opera with a bit of player interaction thrown in, it is very well written and keep pulling the player in despite its slow pacing. It is also a very well made parody of RPGs while being an excellent example of the genre, continuing similar creations that use these tropes such as One Punch Man, Riverdale and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
