An “aha moment” is a point in time, event, or experience when one has a sudden insight or realization.
An “Aja moment” is a point in time, event, or experience when one has a knife suddenly dragged across their throat, a masonry saw suddenly pushed slowly through their rib cage, a giant rock suddenly smashed into their skull, or their head suddenly removed by an otherwise harmless credenza, and the realization that if they are in an Alexandre Aja movie, they’re pretty much screwed.
This week we grabbed some Kronenbourg 1664 Pale Ale, and turned our directors spotlight on Alexandre Aja and two of his films.
