Piranhas are any of several small South American freshwater fishes that eat other fish and sometimes plants, but occasionally also attack humans and other large animals that enter the water.
Piranha 2: The Spawning is an American film, shot in Italy and Jamaica by a Canadian, with a cast of actors who look suspiciously like other actors, that tells the story of mutated Piranhas that can survive in the ocean, fly like birds, and breath out of water. If you’re not on board yet, just know that it is also chock full of sexual tension.... between a mother and son.
We don’t really feel the need to make too many jokes about this week’s Bad Brew feature, because the description of the film pretty much speaks for itself. So grab a sixer BJ’s Piranha Pale Ale, and sink your teeth into Piranha 2: The Spawning to find out if it can stay afloat in a sea of scrutiny, or if it’s dead in the water.
