Episode 185 - The Dark Side Of The Room

With as many horror movies as we watch, we’re not ashamed to admit that we’re scared of the dark. Sure, it has affected our relationships with other people, and yes we do still have to sleep with a nightlight, and yes at the age of 34, Mike still pisses his pants if his cellphone goes into power save mode and dims slightly on an overcast day, but we deal with it, you know? Mike makes sure his phone is always well charged when it’s going to be cloudy, and carries a change of pants just in case, we always have a spare flashlight, and most importantly, to avoid embarrassment, we don’t try to form meaningful relationships with anyone other than each other. See, it’s fine. We’re good. This is healthy.
This week we grabbed some Blackout Stout from Great Lakes Brewing Co. and a change of pants, turned out the lights, and discussed two movies that prove why it’s smart to have a healthy fear of the dark. Cheers!!
