From across a crowded room, you lock eyes. You think to yourself, "They couldn't possibly looking at me, could they?" It doesn't take you long to figure it out though. There is no mistaking the desire in their eyes. Suddenly, and without warning, they are standing directly in front of you, as if time itself is irrelevant. You feel yourself mouth the words "I want you", and wait anxiously for their response. In an instant, you are swept off your feet..... and left twitching in a bloody heap on the floor, blood spilling from the open wound in the side of your head. Didn't you notice that Prince Charming was holding a pickaxe, you idiot? Well hey, not everybody can find love on Valentine's day, so this week we grabbed some My Bloody Valentine Ale from Alesmith Brewing, and discussed a few flicks where lovers are jilted, jolted, stabbed, burned, and screwed.
